Steelers fans are now hoping for something to beat the Broncos in Week 6.
And if they can’t win that game, then at least it won’t be a close game.
Steelers defensive end Ryan Shazier is expected to miss Week 7 with a sprained right ankle, a source told FOX Sports on Monday.
The injury is believed to be the same ankle that he sprained in Week 5 against the Colts.
Shazier has been a revelation since the Steelers hired former Chiefs defensive coordinator Wade Phillips as the team’s new head coach.
He has been instrumental in Pittsburgh’s dominant season, and he should be ready to play against the Broncos.
He’ll be an extra player in Denver’s defense.
Shozier was a force for the Steelers in Week 3.
He played 15 snaps and registered a sack, four tackles for loss and a quarterback hurry.
Shaziers presence and playmaking will be sorely missed for the Broncos defense.
The Patriots are also looking for a win over the Steelers.
New England is 8-1 against the Steelers and has been dominant in every game this season.
This will be the first time the two teams meet in the Superbowl.
The Steelers have won three of their past four games, including a 24-20 victory over the Colts in Week 2.
