The Browns will host the New Orleans Saints on Sunday Night Football, but a couple of things will have to happen for that game to be a success.
First, the team will have played two more games this season, and two more of those games will be on the road.
That means there’s a lot more to worry about than just the games themselves.
The Browns also have to play better than they did against the Colts, Vikings and Falcons in the first half of their games this year.
The defense, as always, has to be better, and this team has to win games.
So far, so good, and the Browns’ offense has looked much more productive than the defense.
The offense has scored 20 points or more in four of its past five games, and that includes a big drive that saw quarterback Johnny Manziel complete a comeback of sorts with his first touchdown pass in more than two weeks.
The other big thing for the Browns will be whether the team can keep the pace up on the defense, which allowed a league-high 109 points to the Packers in Week 4.
That was an incredible game by the Packers, and Manziel should be just fine.
In the meantime, there are plenty of opportunities for the defense to improve, which is why the defense will be more important than ever for this team.
For the Browns, the best way to do that is to make sure they stay focused on the offense, and to keep things close.
