2K Games chief game designer Frank Gibeau revealed that Battlefront 2 will have two new maps, both of which were previously revealed at E3 last month.
“We’re going to get another three maps this time,” Gibear wrote in a tweet.
“Battlefront 2 is the sequel to Battlefront.
We’re going all-out on this.”
Battlefront’s two new map packs will also feature a new game mode, a new vehicle, and an entirely new vehicle class.
The two maps were previously only revealed to players during E3.
The expansion will also include a new weapon, which was previously teased in March.
The second map pack will also have new vehicles, such as the Dauntless, which were only available in the first game.
We haven’t seen any of the new vehicles in action yet, but Battlefront will include three new vehicles this time around, which will allow the game to expand its vehicle pool.
Gibeauer also said that Battlefield 1 was “the first Battlefront game I ever bought,” and that he “wanted a sequel to it.”
The sequel is expected to be out sometime in 2019.
