With ‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’ releasing this weekend, developers Nintendo and CD Projekt Red have begun the first-ever “real-time strategy” title to make the jump to consoles.
Developers at CD Projeekt have begun to deliver a “real time strategy” game to PC, the company said.
It’s called ‘The Longest Journey’ and it’s a real-time “roguelike” experience.
The title is being developed by CD Projaekt and is being marketed to “gamers who want to play a strategy game that doesn’t require a lot to understand and understand,” the company explained.
“This game allows you to take control of a soldier in a warzone, explore vast landscapes and battle enemies that are at your command.”
It’s been designed to be played with two or three players.
The game is still in early development but is being released in 2017 on PC and Xbox One.
A big part of the game will be on the console, which is the most powerful platform currently.
The new console has “a high frame rate and can render the highest quality graphics ever seen on a console,” the CD Projiekt statement read.
The title will be playable on all modern consoles, including the Xbox One X, the PS4 Pro and the Nintendo Switch, CD ProJekt added.
